The energy 'crunch' The resentment of odd and even license plates Trevor the Boston cabbie sat in line for two hours waiting to get gas. A guy from 'the gas station' taps on his window and explains that to save time we are collecting the $3.00 maximum in advance. Trevor pays and the guy gives him a ticket stub to show the attendant putting the gas in. When he finally reaches the pump, the attendants know nothing about anyone collecting money is advance.
