[jim] Shep says he was flying over Shea Stadium returning from Los Angeles just as the last out was made making the Mets the champions. The last game was 10-16-69 Shep was in L.A. to be on the Steve Allen show and talks about listening to the game in the green room - indicates unknown 10/69 Steve Allen appearance.
