Frank Purdue looks just like his chickens. How people begin to look like their products. He's beginning to show insipiant Wattles. Imitations of various chicken clucks for the various moods of a chicken Shep once worked at a radio station as 'Cousin Jean' and played the part of "Carl the Singing Chicken" Used to sing ('cluck') all sorts of songs Plays short piece of lady doing hog calls Vassar Clements -Fiddle Player

[Max] Clarence - M-0027 Run sheet says Tuesday 8/19/75 orig synd # 102-2 (C101) I pulled out the original reel I took the 1975 shows from, and listened to my cassette masters - Somebody scrambled the titles and dates on the reel label! The recorded shows with date stamps are correct, but the titles are mixed up. From database (now known to be INCORRECT): Friday 8/15/75 Carl the Singing Chicken Monday 8/18/75 Fighting in Class Tuesday 8/19/75 Hexes and Curses Wednesday 8/20/75 Australia It should read as follows: Friday 8/15/75 Hexes and Curses Monday 8/18/75 Australia Tuesday 8/19/75 Carl the Singing Chicken Wednesday 8/20/75 Fighting in Class (this show concludes with a different version of "Crime and Punishment - Playing Hooky" story)
