Show Description
A show full of commercials, Shep rambles along playing the Jews Harp to Yakety Sax, telling about someone who mugged a Moog synthesizer at a rock concert, and talking about the devil in the cockpit of mankind. He claims he has the temptation to tell a dirty joke and several times during the show begins to tell it and then sidetracks away from it. The third attempt is aborted as the theme comes to an end, "We're out of time"
[ Courtesy: David Goldin - 04-22-2024 ] The first known mugging of a computer! This momentous news is preceded by a jew's harp performance to a record of, "Yakety Sax." Shep starts to tell a dirty joke (not completed, of course) about three monks and a dachshound in an Irish bar.

[Pete D] Another little white lie from Shep. The cheer was not from the finale of the 3rd Carnegie Hall show, but from the last moments of side one of the album "TIGER TIME" by the Grambling College Marching Band RHODA WHO? Refers to the special CBS one hour episode of "RHODA," the Mary Tyler Moore spinoff broadcast on 10/28 from 9PM to 10PM, where Rhoda marries her boyfriend Joe. Typical sitcom "hijinks" had Rhoda ending up on the subway in her wedding gown. ALI/FOREMAN 2 Ali knocked out Forman in the 8th round. POLITICAL ADS Lefkowitz, Grasso and Koch all won. DATSUN SAVES Datsun changed it's name to NISSAN in 1982. In the late 50's the company chose the name DATSUN instead of NISSAN as to not offend Americans who knew that NISSAN manufactured World War Two armaments.
