Zurich postcards from 1957 Looking at the one with the handwritten date of February 27, 1957 is it me or does the postmark appear to be Nov? In the line above the '1957' it looks like '27' to the left and '11' to the right. The second '1' seems faded. "Pratt Institute - Blood Drive Rally - 4:30 PM" November 27, 1957 I am trying to find out my source for this. Also he was at Carnegie Hall that night as per the attached NY Times article - See Wednesday's listing which would have been the 27th. On the KLM postcard dated 11-26-57 he writes: "Cold almost gone and by the time you get this I'll have left Zurich and will be in Munich" How could he have been headed for Zurich and then Munich and still be back in NY for 2 appearances? Interesting sidenote: Shepherd's daughter Adrian was born December 16, 1957. Appears he was travelling abroad during his wife's last month of pregnancy, writing to his 'girlfriend' Lois. Strange man he was!

Hi Jim. The date on the license is December 3, 1960. The church is: Union Church of Pocantico Hills . The witnesses were Lois' mother, stepfather (Virginia and Alfred Pestone) and Richard E. Hanson of Tarrytown, NY. I think we will be selling the license - not positive yet - but I think we will.
