[from Steve Glazer] Echoes-Sentinel (Warren Township), July 19, 1984: Jean Shepherd, American wit, storyteller and essayist, will appear at the Clinton Historical Museum Village at 56 Main St. in Clinton at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 21. Shepherd has appeared as part of the museum's Concerts in the Park program for the past six years. Author of many books, including "A Fistful of Fig Newtons," he is currently working on a series of programs for public television, "Jean Shepherd's America." For more information call 735-4101.
