It wouldn't be the holiday season without that exasperating visit to see Santa, the relentless pestering of parents for certain gifts and a less-than-perfect Christmas dinner. Of course, you can experience all three by watching the film "A Christmas Story." Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the movie starring Darren McGavin, Melinda Dillon and Peter Billingsley has become a tradition itself. It just strikes a chord, said Brian Pearson of Crown Point, Ind. "I think it's a great movie that everyone can relate to," Pearson said. "It's blue-collar, middle-class Americana with a warped sense of humor. We all at one time were the cute kid who wanted some kind of toy that our parents wouldn't allow. We all had to deal with the Scut Farkuses of the neighborhood, and I think we can all recall the first time we accidentally swore in front of our parents."
